Mt Hood Athletic Club (hereinafter referred to as MHAC) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our continuing commitment to the privacy of personal information provided by you at the time you become a member of MHAC and by those visiting and interacting with us on-line.  We recognize the importance of protecting your privacy and our policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our web site. This policy will be continuously assessed against new technologies, business practices and our customers’ needs.

This Policy describes the personal information we collect and how we use it. We collect this information to personalize your experience, improve our website, improve customer service, and to periodically contact you via email or text message.  You acknowledge that you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy by joining MHAC, by being a guest and by our visiting our web site.

When you become a member of MHAC, you provide us with certain personally identifiable information such as your first name, last name, address, phone, email address, credit/debit card number, date of birth, purchase information, and other similar information.  You may also provide certain non-identifiable information such as your gender, date of birth, your occupation and the name of your employer.   In addition, and similar to other commercial web sites, our web site utilizes a standard technology called “cookies” and web server log files to collect information about how our website is used.  Information gathered through cookies and web server logs is
generally collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our website and may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our web site, and the web sites visited just before and just after our website.

You can opt-out of receiving from marketing and promotional emails from us, from companies with whom we have joint marketing agreements and from other companies with whom we have a contractual relationship by using the opt-out or unsubscribe feature contained in the e-mail(s) you receive. 

However, in doing so, MHAC cannot be held responsible for any financial repercussions pertinent to financial notices and updates to your membership that you will not receive such as promotions, dues adjustments or club credits.

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes to the Privacy Policy on our web site so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
