The Owners- Paul & Lila Reed
As owners, Paul and Lila Reed have over 30+ yrs experience in running health clubs. It is our passion to provide a friendly, clean and welcoming facility in which local folks can reach their health and fitness goals and dreams! We do not do this alone! MHAC has department heads and a general manager to ensure all areas of the club are running top notch. Most department heads have over 10 years experience in the business and pride of ownership that drives them to make their department the best. Most are very community minded and involved in the club, local schools and charities.

The Managment Staff
As a former club owner/operator, General Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager and Director of a $500 million dollar club development company, John has over 35 years of successful experience in the athletic club business John as worked with/for some of the best club and club companies in the world. He has consulted with over 600 clubs worldwide including the Middle East, North & South America, Europe, and the far East. A native of Kansas, John relocated to Sandy after spending the last 20+ years as a Texan. He has been a frequent speaker at leading industry conventions as well as authored over 50 published articles on the club industry. He resides in Gresham and enjoys outdoor sports, exercising, tennis and pickleball and helping animals and people who may be less fortunate.
I began at the reception desk in 2003, then became the Front Desk and Membership Director. I am very proud to say I went through the entire build of our current club, and I have been able to put my stamp on many things here. I am now Marketing and Membership Director. My husband Skip and I have been childhood sweethearts since we met at Sandy High School. We have raised our family in Sandy, and we have our daughter Nicole, son Bobby, son in law James and our grandsons Mason and Aiden. My hobbies include showing horses, quading, reading, gardening, and chasing after my grandsons.
My name is Alesia Soll. I started working for MHAC in August of 2006. I began as a personal trainer, group x instructor. I've worked in sales, front desk and as a volleyball coach.I am the Fitness Director... I have the pleasure of guiding the personal training staff, all fitness instructors, taking care of the fitness studios and over looking the weight and cardio floors... yay me!. I've lived in the Sandy community for over 21 years. I have been married for almost 12 years now, I have a 10 year old son- Fisher and a 7 year old daughter- Alyvia. We are currently gypsies... I love being active and some of my hobbies include: Running, Riding quads, Camping and spending time with friends and family. I love the sun and wish it would come visit often!
My journey at Mt. Hood Athletic club began in 2014 as a part of the front desk staff, in 2017 I completed my certification to become a nutritionist, and also run MO Nutrition here at MHAC. In 2018 I became the new Front desk/Cafe manager. My passion for health and fitness began at a young age as I played year-round sports, which lead me to coaching high school softball at Sandy high in 2011 to 2016. I take pride in my family, family is everything. In September of 2016 my husband and I got married, after 5 years of dating, on a beautiful beach in Maui. We enjoy spending time together doing anything that involves the outdoors or sports related. We have a beautiful black lab dog named Shadow who is our pride and joy together who is a trained bird/hunting dog.
I began working for Mt Hood Athletic Club as a Personal Trainer in 2002. I also spent time cross training and working in other areas of the club as well. These days, I’ve left Personal Training and spend my days working behind the scenes on implenting programs with other departments and communicating with our staff and members through our social media, website and our Club App and more. I am married and have two grown children. My husband and I like to travel when we can. I also have a very spoiled cat whom I indulge.
My history in childcare started when I was ten and started babysitting. In High School, I worked in the High School Pre-school in conjunction with the Early Childhood Education Classes. During my summers, I worked with the children at Vacation Bible School. From 2000 to 2012, I had my own Daycare Business. I began working for MHAC in 2013. Since then I have implemented may children’s activities such as Date Night, Crafts and special event days. I’m also the Birthday Party Coordinator and Family Fun Run Director. Creating a Positive Member Experience for our children, and therefore their parent’s, is very important to me. We strive for a nurturing, friendly environment in our Kidz Klub and Tween Room. On a personal note, I am married and have two sons, Daniel and Jacob. I also have a foster son, Dillion.
